Well—here I am, Mom!
The people here are really nice –there’s about 50 or so of us here from throughout the tri-state area. That lady from the community center is here too—she said that there’s all kinds of activities and stuff that’s planned here as well. It’s all going to ‘bond us’ and make us get in touch with our ‘inner selves’ and stuff like that. Probably just a load of BS but it feels good meeting new people and getting to be exposed to new stuff.
And Mom—it’s NOT a cult, ok?!? Yeah—they’re a bit weird when it comes to the aliens –they’re called the Lytasians’ Companions for a reason—but don’t worry about it, ok?!
I know you’re not too crazy about me dropping out of school but I’ll be alright. Trust me, ok?

The film they showed was pretty cool – it was all about ancient Egyptians and stuff from the bible and stuff like that. Some pretty freaky stuff there about Ezekiel’s Wheel and Alexander the Great’s flaming shields and other stuff. You know, I’m beginning to think that the people here may be correct about how the Visitors may have been here on Earth before. If so—it looks like they’ve been slowly nudging us humans onto the Path.
Oh—and this really sweet girl – Jackie – started talking to me. She’s really smart and nice – she’s been with the Companions from the very beginning.
And Mom—for the last time—this is NOT a brainwashing camp! Okay?

Been invited to lead a panel discussion on the lectures and films we saw today! First time in my life that I’ve been a member of a panel discussion! And I’m LEADING it, Mom! They said that they were most impressed with all of the questions and comments I was making during the lectures and stuff!

Really tired – didn’t get to sleep until 1 am and then they woke us up again for another series of films and lectures at 7 am. Weather is really crappy so we were stuck indoors.
Food is good though – but I so need some coffee.

No mom—I’m not dead! I’ve just been really, really busy! These people are great! And I’m learning so much! I’ve finally found a group of people that actually understand how I feel! They were just as confused and lost and lonely just like me—but not anymore!
We’re like one big family—it’s pretty cool!
Don’t know when we’ll be coming back to New York – there’s suppose to be a lecture by some bigwig—he’s, like, a psychology professor at Columbia before the Lytasians showed up.

I’ve been watching the news about the Lytasians – it’s like one dream being fulfilled after another!
What disease has NOT been cured by them? What science fiction dream has NOT been offered to us? And how many more are on the way?
And do they ask for anything in return? No! And yet—look at all the jokes that are already swirling around the net! Look at all the sillyness! Hell—I heard that that one of them is even going on Jon Stewart tonight to talk about it! It’s ridiculous that they have to endure so much of this crap from us! Maybe this is the reason aliens have avoided contacting us before—precisely to avoid shit like this!
So—this retreat is now over and I’m going back home tomorrow. Be good to sleep in my own apartment.
Anyway—have some good news to tell you—Jackie and I…well…we’re a couple now. :)
