Ethenthia is a very large independent Asteroid settlement which serves as a gateway to the Confederations frontier.
It has been used as a base for Scouting missions and Colonial development for over 50 years.
The foundations of the facility were once in the possession of a crime family which dealt in narcotics and piracy. Because of their involvement in one of the Antimatter Atrocities
the families holdings were confiscated. The Ethenthia Asteroid mining company was one such holding a legitimate business, as well as a cover for organised crime, The young Confederation garrisoned the asteroid
for its first twenty years of independence to ensure that no remnant criminals got a foot hold their. Orbiting the gas giant Woden, with a planetary ring, it is hoped that a Cloud scoop operation might be financed
shortly, with a view to export to the fledgling colony worlds which are located near by.
Ethenthia still has a reputation as a haven for smugglers and pirates, though the local governor has a reputation for his hard line law and order policies, Ethenthia is a vast warren
of tunnels and disused mines, many of which have been shielded from detection by earlier occupants.
