Hadrum was colonised in the Great Dispersal by the combined nations of North Africa ((Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Egypt). The world is very hot with no appreciable seasons. Both
poles are frozen but relatively small in size. Most of the settlements have been placed on the coasts of the northern hemisphere where the largest seas help keep the temperature at tolerable levels.
The local ecology is radically different to Earth’s and has had to be heavily adapted to meet the inhabitants needs. The most common crops are large cactus like
vegetables and cocoanut like fruit.
Only Muslims are free to settle on Hadrum, although the population has an excellent reputation for being friendly to visitors and tourists.
Hadrum has successfully moved into industrial phase of colonisation with a large orbital manufacturing base amongst the 14 asteroid settlements. The asteroid settlements have
relatively large populations of foreign workers.
There are Edenist Habitats in orbit around the gas giants Shariah and Sakcran, both operate extensive cloud scooping operations.
