Jerez is part of the Kulu Kingdom, The first colony world to be settled by Kulu, having been fought over with the government of Parma which had attempted to claim the world. Jerez
was the first extra-colony world to be established (A colony settled by an earlier colony world).
Jerez has a fully fledged techno-econony with market leading companies in the astronautics and construction industries.
The Ocean on Jerez is saturated in a polymer soup which is extracted for use in the development of pharmaceuticals, plastics and basic hydrocarbons products. The atmosphere
contains an unpleasant taint as a result of its exotic oceans. Most settlements are therefore in the highlands where the air is thinner but more palatable.
All plant and Animal life has been transplanted from Kulu, Jerez has only ocean life, which consists mostly of jelly fish analogues which filter the ocean for microscopic plants
which grow on the polymeric slimes.
Jerez is regarded as the least hospitable world in the Kulu kingdom, the population has enjoyed a very high standard of living thanks to the earning’s of a high export economy.
