The Dragonfly is an over-rated and over used model. I have had a few bad experiences while piloting one. For one thing, the oversized arms are not as useful as you are lead to believe by the commercials. You see the guy making longer reaches and appearing to use less reaction mass having to travel to and fro. Well once you got those lanky arms outstretched you will find the little dragonfly doesn’t flutter quite so gracefully.

I remember someone used to do all his work behind is back so he could keep the arms folded. We even talked once about removing the forearms, but we’d have lost our warranty with Mitsubishi.  And don’t let me get started on the reliability problems.  I am sure that you can guess that the Dragonfly is a loss-leader. You pick one up for a real bargain, but within a few months you will be paying princely sums for spares and maintence.
