New California is the Fifth richest Adamist World in the Confederation (It overtook Far Texas as the wealthiest American Colony about ten years ago).
It was the first Colony to be settled through ethnic streaming, a strategy which was very controversial in its day. Soon almost all colonisation efforts followed the New
Californian Method, which appears to create more stable and peaceful colonies.
New California was settled due to a pressing need to displace a hundred million Californians from the increasingly cramped state.
Today almost all of old California’s industrial and high technology production takes place here. The local Starship and vehicular products sell throughout the Confederation. Only
Kulu and Oshanko exceed New California’s expertise in astrospacial engineering.
The System also plays host to Independent Asteroid communities, as well as Edenist Habitats, which number about thirty, in orbit around Yosemite.
New California is the biggest trade centre in its locality, about 70% of trade moves through the system between the Kulu Kingdom and the Core Systems of Avon and Earth.
