I remember making planet fall at Bonadette and us catching a hurricane. I remember watching a bulkhead as it screeched like a pig in heat and thinking, this is it. End of contract.

We bought the farm on that one. That is, the company purchased the three acres of cornfield that we plowed on our arrival at Chatminster. When the weather calmed down we reviewed the damage, one buckled undercarriage and some scratched thermopaint. Took about three hours to repair and three days to coax the plane to a road, long enough to be used as a makeshift runway.
