Zero Tau is a the common name for a stasis field, a manipulation of Quantum effects which can halt the transit of time flow within the field. The technology was developed as part of the work to develop faster-than-light travel. Since then ZT has been utilised in several interesting ways. Early attempts an using ZT as a for of shielding has mostly ended in failure. Where ZT is most commonly used now is in ‘freezing’ people within coffin sized ZT capsules. This allows them to travel for long periods without the need for elaborate life support and spacious accommodation. Another benefit is that when ‘time-frozen’ a person is not effected by inertial effects outside the pod. They can therefore be subjected to extreme acceleration which would otherwise instantly crush them to death.

Zero Temporal Transit is the process by which Adamists starships travel interstellar distances.  The theoretical basis was founded by Professors Gupter Singh and Torsten Gruber in 2095 while working at New Kong Asteroid’s FTL Research Project. The exploitation of the principles of ZTT took a generation and trillions of dollars to evolve into a practical solution. On September the 27th 2115 The Diedalus, the foundations second prototype starship underwent instantaneous transit from Earth orbit to the outer orbit of Mars. Mankind was finally free of the confines of the solar system!

Molecular Binding technology is an offshoot of the improvements in material science and nuclear physics which have taken place by the 25th century. Some forms of matter when properly prepared can be manipulated very finely on the atomic level. The two main applications of  'Intelligent Silicon' and 'Molecular Binding Generators. The MBG's can increase the strength of the weak nuclear forces which keep atoms locked together. When used on Starship hulls this allows for greatly increased strength, and resistance to weapons fire. All modern Adamists Starships carry light or standard rate generators which provide good strength enhancement at low power cost and heat generation. Military Vessels carry a supercharged version which will allow them to resist severe punishment. The military versions generate a lot of heat and require maximum thermo-dumping.
