Greetings from your new editor.

Let me introduce myself, although I’m hardly a new face at Changing The Times. I’m David Atwell, sometimes historian, sometimes alternative historian, other times this and that, yet all Australian, and your new editor.

Although the editorialship may have changed hands doesn’t mean that massive changes are afoot. On the contrary, Changing The Times will continue as it has always. And, more importantly, Chris Nuttall will still be a major influence in its future. But before I go on, may I say, on behalf of everyone involved in Alternative History, that a show of thanks and gratitude is in order for all the efforts that Chris has made over the years. Indeed Changing The Times, which is his original creation, has only been successful, has only become home to many an article, not to mention many an AHer, because of his grand efforts. We thank you Chris! Furthermore, Chris will still be the ‘Boss’ at Changing The Times and will thus continue to contribute to the eZine in particular and, needless to say, to the Alternative History community in general.

Fundamentally Changing The Times will continue as the eZine we all know and love, where Alternative History enthusiasts can come together, submit articles, read them, and discuss them. Just as importantly, and it goes without saying, such an environment wouldn’t be possible without your support and contributions.

There will be some changes at Changing The Times, but nothing too drastic. Some have already happened such as our new layout (if you haven‘t noticed already). Other changes will include more promotion of our eZine to a broader internet community, which will hopefully bring in more like minded people. And, of course, a new Changing The Times Non-English Speaking Edition, even though still in its infancy, will likewise contribute to the genre of Alternative History as the internet knows no borders or languages.

I trust, with your help, support, and contributions, Changing The Times will continue in its mission and that we will have many more editions ahead of us.

And lastly, but not least, if any of you have any ideas, thoughts, contributions, please don’t hesitate to contact me or Chris.

I thank you for your time.

Your editor,

David Atwell
