Andrew Aelfwine his Webpage
Hello, Andrew here. This is my webpage. On it you'll find my fanfic,
a bit of a cookery page, my bio
(I make no claims as to the accuracy of this:-), my links and maybe a few other
things if I think about them.
If you want to see what I've done most recently, click here for my update page.
What you won't find is anything terribly fancy by way of javascript,
images, and so on. I'm fairly new to this business of writing HTML,
and I'm doing this entirely in a text editor because I'm a neoprimitive:-)
So, here's what you're likely here for:
My Fanfics
These are mostly Neon Genesis Evangelion and Ranma 1/2. It's not that I
don't read or don't like other anime and manga, it's just that these two
inspire me the most. It may have something to do with all the cute girls.
The Disclaimer
Characters and situations of commercial works belong to their creators
and publishers. I am merely borrowing them for these non-profit fanfics.
Many of these fics involve deep emotional and physical relationships between more than two people. In other words, polyfidelity. If that bothers you, don't read them. (Or at least don't complain if you do.)
If you're wondering why, look at Ranma 1/2. Four fiancées. One aquatransexual. Personally, I can't see any other way to get around the situation that doesn't involve someone or several someones folded, spindled, and/or mutilated.
As for Evangelion, the Eva pilots together just about make one moderately mentally competent human being. And I really wonder about Misato's real motivations in making Asuka and Shinji dress up in those dancing costumes. :-)
As for Harry Potter, blame it on Lavender and Parvati. Those two are hard to resist. :-)
I should also warn you that most of these are set in alternate universes and may diverge significantly in feel from the original flavour of their sources.
- Ranma Fics:
- One Morning in Spring My first (published) fanfic (Summer 1998)
- One Ranma's Nightmare is another Ranma's...? A bit of lime-scented silliness. (Summer 1998)
- A Fiancee in the Grass I think this needs a huge lot of work, but people seem to read it so it's here. (Summer 1998)
- An Unusual Engagement: In an alternate universe, Ranma arrives at the Tendou dojo with two parents and a fiancée. One Tendou daughter doesn't mind. (Spring 1999)
- Chapter 1
- Chapter 2
- Ranma: A Soldier's Story This doesn't make all that much sense, but I kind of like the idea and may expand someday. (Fall 1999)
- Short Sketch: The Vampire Kasumi A weird little idea that came to me recently. (Added 13 December 2000)
- Evangelion Fics:
- Fanservice Sweet lime, silly. A casting crisis derails the original plot of Evangelion, with better results for all concerned. (completely rewritten, 21 August 2003)
- Fanservice II: Back to School Special More of the above. (16 March 2001)
- The Picture of the Tragic Hero Volume two of the Evangelion manga in an alternate universe. (Fall 2000--reformatted 27 August 2003)
- Amhrán Grá Tokyo-3 Lime, serious. Amid the chaos of war, three people comfort each other. (HTML'd and revised, 26 August 2003)
- The More the Merrier Just an harmless bit of fun. (Revised 28 October 2002)
- The Children and the Fury Rough Draft. I know where they're going, I'm just not sure how they get there:-) (Revised 8 July 2001)
- A Child Out of Time Alternate universe. Displaced in time, fourteen-year-old Katsuragi Misato must deal simultaneously with a new world, a new responsibility, and new housemates: her fellow Eva pilots and their guardian, Ryouji Kaji. (Fall 2000)
- Short Sketch: Three Pilots on a Summer Afternoon Lemon Warning! Not to be read by persons under their local age of consent. Proceed at your own risk.
Asuka, Shinji, and Rei finally get their act together. A bit of PWP. (Revised 11 January 2002)
- Short Sketch: The Encounter In a _very_ alternate universe, young officers Souryuu Asuka Langley and Ikari Shinji find a way to deal with their hostilities. (Added 14 December 2000)
- Short Sketch: Life, Undeath, and Rebirth After _End of Evangelion_, Asuka and Shinji are reunited with Misato. (Added 16 March 2001)
- Short Sketch: Untitled Eva Sketch One afternoon, Misato's nap is interrupted by a call from the Tokyo-3 PD. Incomplete. Rough Draft. (Added 23 December 2001)
- Crossovers:
- Kasumi's New Friend, or All Purpose Cultural Draka Girl Gwen Ingolfssen. Poor Gwen! First she gets caught in a laboratory accident and blown through a molehole, and now she's stuck in the Ranmaverse. Won't this be fun? (Added 8 July 2001)
- "I was a Teenage Draka Evangelion Pilot." An extract from the Autobiography of Ikari Shinji ag Katsuragi. An oddly familiar stranger drops in on our favourite pilots, leading to shocking personal discoveries. Eva AU meets Draka AU. Lime, WAFF. (Revised and expanded 28 July 2002)
- Fusions:
- Oh My Misato? College student Ikari Shinji dials the Goddess Relief Office. (Revised 11 January 2002)
- Draka no Kasumi! A quiet morning in a Takahashi'd Domination of the Draka. (Fall 2000)
- Three Pilots and a Major in Wonderland Lewis Carroll's Evangelion. Rough Draft . (Added 4 September 2001)
- Tokyo-3 In The Sea of Time. Another hommage (?) to S.M. Stirling's alternate histories. NEW!! . (Revised 24 August 2004)
- Farscape Fics:
- Aeryn's Disturbing Discovery. Early in the series, a souvenir of Aeryn's past leads to a conversation with Crichton and a startling revelation. Alternate Universe, Humour. (9 February 2002)
- The Way It Should Be. Written in response to the cliffhanger from end-of-season before last. In an alternate universe, Aeryn, Gilina and Crichton share a quiet moment. (Added 16 March 2001)
- Harry Potter Fics:
- A Different Yule Ball. After a rough start, Harry and Parvati share a lovely evening, comfort a friend, and encounter Flying Mistletoe. Poly, snogging. (Revised 7 September 2002)
- Luna's Dream . Luna Lovegood gets two of her fondest desires. Short Sketch Femmeslash, hints of bisexuality. (27 August 2003)
- Severus Snape and the Accursed Nephew. Thanks to Severus Snape, Voldemort is running EuroDisney, and the Wizarding World is at peace. Unfortunately for Professor Snape, virtue is its own punishment, and his horrible American nephew, Dennis, is due for a visit. (29 January 2004)
This segment opens Episode 25 of Harry Potter: the Animated Series, which ends with:
- the ending segment of "Severus Snape and the Accursed Nephew", which was formerly called "Harry Potter and the Annoying
Blond Kid from the American Comic Strip." (27 August 2003)
For the record, Harry Potter: the Animated Series doesn't exist in our world, and probably won't look anything like this if it ever does.
- Harry Potter and the Unexpected Plot Twist. Just before the start of Sixth Year, the annual shopping trip to Diagon Alley takes Harry and company in a new and shocking direction. Humour, parody. NEW! (5 June 2004)
