Determined to find the keys to freedom he became a disciple of Elijah Muhammed and at his master's request, journeyed to India to study the control of the senses in thought, word and deed.

Because the awesome power of brahmacharya had been demonstrated by the soul-deep Master Mohandas K. Gandhi when he disarmed a clumsy assassination attempt from Nathuram Godse in 1948.

Author says the broken chains around the Statue of Liberty's ankles are not known to many people. One foot is raised as if she is moving forward breaking the chains. The broken chains symbolize her movement towards freedom and leaving oppresion behind. To view guest historian's comments on this post please visit the Today in Alternate History web site.

Imagine what would be, if history had occurred a bit differently. Who says it didn't, somewhere? These fictional news items explore that possibility. Possibilities such as America becoming a Marxist superpower, aliens influencing human history in the 18th century and Teddy Roosevelt winning his 3rd term as president abound in this interesting fictional blog.
