Russian president Dmitri Medvedev is taking exception to remarks made by his French counterpart Nicholas Sarkozy yesterday at a press conference in Paris. Medvedev said Sarkozy’s statements, which assert that the Kremlin has been less than fully forthcoming in regard to the body count of the recent clashes between government and rebel forces at Talaya and Atka and suspected links by the Solidarity Summit bombing conspirators to the FSS, were blatant anti-Russian propaganda meant to embarrass both his country and his government. Many of Medvedev’s fellow countrymen seem to share his outrage about the French president’s comments, if the demonstrations going on right now outside the French embassy in Moscow is any indication....
